Use Jira with Loop
You can now bring Jira issues into Loop for easy and effective collaboration with your colleagues.
Add Jira issues to your Loop page

Type a / and then select Jira from the apps menu.

Select Proceed and sign in to your Jira account with your Jira credentials (if not already signed in).

After you've successfully signed in, select Accept to grant Jira read/write access to Loop.

Last, choose a filter that you want to import.

You are authorized for all your Jira sites.

We only support Jira Cloud as of yet, and not Jira Server and Jira Data Center.

You need to have access to a Jira filter to import issues.

You can only import a filter with a minimum of 1 issue and a maximum of 100 issues.

If you encounter difficulties proceeding with the integration, one of the following reasons may be responsible:

Optional connected experience is not enabled: To resolve this, try enabling the Optional Connected Experience (OCE) from the privacy settings (accessible through the three-dot menu) on Loop, or reach out to your IT admin.

Atlassian admin console is blocking 3P integrations: In this case, it is recommended to contact Atlassian's admin and request approval for the integration. They can make the necessary changes in the admin portal to enable the integration for you.

Using an MSA account: Using an MSA account: Please note that this third-party integration is currently unavailable for Microsoft consumer accounts (users who have Microsoft 365 Personal or Family subscriptions). To proceed with the integration, you will need to log in using an official work or school account.

What can be done in the Jira table
Table interactions
You can do the following in imported issues on Loop:

Change status of an issue

Add or change due date in an issue

Add or change the assignee in an issue

View the issue on Jira's website by clicking on the issue ID
Context menu
In the top right of the Jira table, select the drop-down menu to:

Sign in to your Jira account (if not already signed in)

View the issues on Jira's website. This will open a new web page.

Disconnect your Jira account from the Loop page using the Logout option.
: The table will stay on the Loop page in read-only mode after logging out.
Deleting Jira table
You can delete a Jira table from Loop by using any of the following options:

With the Jira table highlighted, select backspace.

Select the six-dot menu next to the Jira table and choose Delete.
: Deleting the Jira table from Loop does not delete issues from your Jira account.
Data view, updates, and sync

All users with access to the Loop page will be able to view the imported Jira table.

Changes made in Loop or on the Jira website will sync in near real-time.

The latest update time is shown by the timestamp next to the Jira icon in the top right of the Table.

Unauthenticated users will have only read access and no write access. They will have to sign in to make changes.

Users with no access to the imported table will be able to see the issues in read-only mode.

The imported Jira table will remain in Read only mode in native Loop mobile apps (iOS and Android), and to make edits, you'll need to navigate back to Loop desktop web app.
Turn your Jira table into a Loop component to use in other apps
You can take your Jira table to other Loop supported apps like Outlook and Teams. To do this you need to convert your imported Table into a component using the six-dot menu on the left side of the Table.

After the component is created, you can copy the link to the component (from top right) and paste it in Teams or Outlook.

The Jira table in other apps will remain in read-only. Changes can only be made from the Loop web app.

The data stays updated as per the latest changes on the Jira website for all Loop supported hosts.
