Summarize a page with Copilot in Loop

Note: You need a license to use all of Copilot's features in Loop, but can share Copilot content to collaborate with Loop users who don't have a license.

Copilot in Loop helps you understand and navigate any content on a page. Get an overview of the content so you and your teammates can quickly catch up.

Your browser does not support video. Install Microsoft Silverlight, Adobe Flash Player, or Internet Explorer 9.

To summarize a page with Copilot in ​​​​​​​Loop, follow these steps:

  1. Open an existing Loop component or page. Enter "/" and then select Summarize page from the dropdown menu.Screenshot showing the slash menu in Loop, with the Page Summary option highlighted​​​​​​​

  2. If you want to make changes to the summary, enter a prompt in the text box such as, "Make this summary three sentences," and then select Send Teams chat send button icon.

  3. Edit the summary as you want, such as update text, format content, or add and delete bullet points.

  4. You can now copy and paste the summary or turn it into a Loop component and make it shareable. Select Click to open in the upper left corner of the summary, and then choose Create Loop component from the dropdown menu.
