Set your availability in Shifts to let your manager know when you’re available to work. You can set your availability for recurring days and for specific dates.

Note: Use Shifts mobile to set your availability. You can’t set it when using Shifts desktop or web.

Set your recurring availability

Setting your recurring availability lets your manager know the days and times that you’re available on a recurring basis. For example, every Monday from 9 AM to 6 PM.

  1. On the Shifts home screen, tap the plus icon (Add button) in the upper-right corner.

  2. Tap Set availability

  3. Tap Recurring, and then choose the day you want to set your availability for.

    •  If you’re not available that day, turn off the Available toggle.

    • If you’re available for shifts any time that day, turn on the All Day toggle.

    • If you’re available for only part of the day, turn off the All Day toggle, and then set the times you’re available.

  4. Tap Save in the upper-right corner.

Set your availability for specific dates

You can add availability for up to 10 dates.

  1. On the Shifts home screen, tap the plus icon (Add button) in the upper-right corner.

  2. Tap Set availability

  3. Tap Specific dates, and then tap Add a date at the bottom of the screen.

  4. Select a date.

    • If you’re not available that day, turn off the Available toggle.

    • If you’re available for shifts any time that day, turn on the All Day toggle.

    • If you’re available for only part of the day, turn off the All Day toggle, and then set the times you’re available.

  5. Tap Save in the upper-right corner.

Note: You can also use this feature to override a recurring availability day that you set. For example, if your recurring availability is set to Available on weekends, and there’s an upcoming weekend that you’re not available, you can add those specific dates and turn off the Available toggle.
