Note: The new Microsoft Planner is currently rolling out to customers. Access Planner through the Planner website

Go to planner.cloud.microsoft to access Planner directly from your browser. 

Access Planner through your Microsoft 365 home page

  1. Go to your Microsoft 365 home page and sign in with the account you want.

  2. Select the app launcher at the top of the browser window.

  3. Choose the Planner tile in the app launcher.

Tip: If you don't see the Planner option, select More apps, and then All apps to find it.

Add the Planner app

There are several ways to add an app to Microsoft Teams. The simplest way is to select View more apps, search for Planner in the search bar, and then select Add.

Tip: To pin the app for easy access, right click on Planner after adding the app and select Pin. To open the Planner app in a separate window, select Open in new window.

Note: If you don't see Planner, your organization might not have the app turned on. Check with your administrator to find out more.

With Planner on your PC, Mac, or mobile device:

  • Create new plans, assign tasks, and share files with others.

  • Organize teamwork and collaborate on projects in a simple, visual way.

  • Chat with others to make sure you're on the same page.

  • Keep track of your team's progress and stay on top of your work—from anywhere, on any device.

Sign in and connect

  1. Type http://office.com/signin or https://admin.microsoft.com into the Address bar and sign in with the account you want.

  2. On Microsoft 365 home page, select the app launcher App Launcher at the top of the browser window.

  3. Select the Planner tile in the app launcher, or on the home page.  Note: If you don't see the Planner option, you may need to select All Apps or Explore all your apps to find it.

Open an existing plan

  • Select an existing plan in the Favorite plans, Recent plans, or All plans section.
