When signed in to Microsoft Teams (free) account, you might have an organization that you no longer need. You can remove your account on desktop or on the web. 

How to leave a Teams work or school organization

  1. In Microsoft Teams (free), go Settings Settings button.

  2. Choose Accounts and orgs Teams new people button.

  3. Under Accounts and orgs Teams new people button, select Leave next to the Teams organization you wish to leave. This will open your browser for Teams on the web.

  4. Under Organizations, find the Teams organization you want to leave, and select Leave.

  5. To confirm, select Leave to remove the selected Teams organization.

It may take a few hours to update. You can then sign out of Teams and sign back in, and you should no longer see the organization. If you still see it, try signing out and back in again after a couple of hours.
