Microsoft 365 Copilot chat

Microsoft 365 Copilot chat combines the power of GPT 4o grounded in the web and your work data, including all your meetings, emails, chats, documents, and more. Copilot chat seamlessly integrates all your data into your workflow. Copilot chat transforms organizational content into a rich database of information and insights, enabling collaboration with Copilot like a partner while transforming every artifact into a reusable business asset.

Copilot pages

Copilot pages is a dynamic, persistent canvas in Copilot chat designed for multiplayer artificial intelligence collaboration. With Copilot pages, you can turn insightful Copilot responses into something durable with a side-by-side page that you can edit and, when ready, share with your team to collaborate. 

Agents

Create, discover, and use agents grounded in web or work data. Using natural language, you can easily create agents to automate repetitive tasks and business processes directly in Copilot chat. For example, a customer service representative can ask an agent for account details before a customer meeting.

Personal Assistant

Copilot in the flow of your work

Copilot supports you in your work environment by being available in familiar Microsoft 365 productivity apps like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Loop, and more. This seamless integration enhances productivity and efficiency.

Microsoft Teams collaboration

Copilot in Teams leverages artificial intelligence to streamline meetings by providing real-time summaries, action items, and insights. It helps teams stay aligned, make decisions faster, analyze past discussions, track project updates, and integrate insights from various channels.

Copilot actions

Copilot Actions help automate everyday tasks with simple, fill-in-the-blank prompts that you can set and forget. For example, you can automatically receive a summary of your most important action items at the end of each workday, or create an action to gather inputs from your team for a weekly newsletter you send each Thursday.

Pre-built Microsoft 365 agents

Pre-built Microsoft 365 agents enable rich collaboration and automate simple tasks and business processes. Currently, the following pre-built agents are available with Microsoft 365 Copilot licenses:

Facilitator: Starts taking real-time notes during Teams meetings, allowing everyone to co-author and collaborate seamlessly. Also generates an up-to-date summary of important information in Teams chats including key decisions, action items, and open questions to resolve.
Project Manager: Automates project management in Planner, from plan creation to task execution, tracking progress, and reporting.
Agents in SharePoint: Chat with ready-made agents on every SharePoint site to help you understand content on the site, ask specific questions, and analyze documents.

Copilot control system

Microsoft 365 Copilot includes capabilities of the Copilot control system, including enterprise data protection (EDP) for data privacy and security along with the ability to govern access and manage the usage and lifecycle of Copilot and agents, as well as measurement and reporting.
