Change the color of notebooks, sections, or pages in OneNote for iPad or iPhone

OneNote for iOSFor iPad or iPhone, you can change the color of your notebook or sections — either for aesthetic purposes or to visually categorize your notebook content in OneNote in the same way you might differentiate notebooks or sections of a traditional paper notebook.
Change the color of a notebook

Tap the Show Notebooks button until you see the notebook list.

Press and hold the notebook to select it. A checkmark will appear next to the notebook when it is selected.

At the bottom of the notebook list tap the Color icon.

Choose the color you want for your notebook and then tap Done.
Change the color of a section

In the section list, press and hold the section name to select it. A checkmark will appear next to the notebook when it is selected. At the bottom of the section list:

On iPad, tap the Edit icon and choose Change Section Color.

On iPhone, tap the Color icon.

Choose the color you want for your section and then tap Done.
Change the page color or paper style of a page
You can change the color and paper style for individual notebook pages.
Note: You cannot change the color or paper style for OneNote notebooks on an iPhone.

Tap on the page whose color you want to change.

On the View tab, select one of the following:

To change the page color, tap Page Color.

To change the paper style, such as for ruled or grid lines, tap Paper Style.

Note: You can change the default text font and text size for pages on iPhone and iPad. Open a notebook. In the upper-right, tap Settings, and then tap Edit & View. Changes to default font or font size won't affect your existing notes.
