Accessibility in Viva Learning
Viva Learning is committed to creating an inclusive experience for all users who use the app to discover, share, and recommend learning content.

These features include:

You can utilize screen readers and magnifiers to access Viva Learning, helping you navigate and use the platform effectively.
Viva Learning is available on both the Web and Teams. Here's how to activate and use accessibility features on each.
Enabling accessibility features on your browser

Narrator on Windows |
Press the Windows logo key + Ctrl + Enter on your keyboard. In earlier versions of Windows, you may need to press the Windows logo key + Enter. On the sign-in screen, select the Ease of access button in the lower-right corner, and turn on the toggle under Narrator. Go to Settings > Ease of Access > Narrator, and then turn on the toggle under Use Narrator. |
Voice over on Mac |
Go to System Preferences from the Apple menu. Select Accessibility. In the left sidebar, choose VoiceOver. Check the box to Enable VoiceOver or press Command + F5 to toggle VoiceOver on or off. |
Adjust text size |
You can change the text size in your browser to view Viva Learning. Microsoft Edge: Open the browser and select the ellipsis (three dots) in the top right corner of the home page. Go to Settings > Appearance. Find the Fonts section. Choose your preferred font size from the dropdown. Learn more about increasing default text size. |
Change the color theme |
Select Settings (the gear icon at the top right corner of the screen). A side panel opens, displaying the available theme options and an option to enable dark mode. Additionally, you can adjust color themes in the browser you use to view Viva Learning. Microsoft Edge: Open the Microsoft Edge browser. Select the ellipsis (three dots) in the top right corner of the home page. Go to Settings. From the Settings page, go to Appearance. Choose your preferred theme from the Theme and Overall appearance section. |
Turn on or turn off subtitles |
Select a course with video content. Toggle subtitles on or off by selecting the CC icon in the video player control bar. |
Change language |
Select the ellipsis (three dots) in the top right corner of the home page. Select Settings from the dropdown menu. In the Language tab, choose your preferred language and select Save & Refresh. |
