The Surface Arc Mouse and Microsoft Arc Mouse are designed to fit to your hand and snaps easily to fit in your bag. These mice are ready to travel no matter where you take your device.

Microsoft Arc Mouse

Requirements

To get set up, you’ll need a PC that’s running Windows 11 or Windows 10 with support for Bluetooth 4.0 or later. This mouse supports Swift Pair in Windows for faster pairing.

Connect your mouse

To turn on your mouse, snap it into the curved position. Snap your mouse flat to turn it off.

Pair your mouse with Bluetooth

Turn on your mouse, then follow the instructions to pair it to your PC:   

  1. Press and hold the pair button on the bottom of the mouse until the LED light starts to flash (about 5 seconds).

  2. On your Windows PC, select Connect if a notification appears for your mouse, then wait for it to get set up. Don’t see the notification?

    • Windows 11: Go to Start  > Settings Bluetooth & devices > Add device > Bluetooth Microsoft Ocean Plastic Mouse > Done.

    • Windows 10: Go to Start  > Settings  > Devices  > Bluetooth & other devices  > Add Bluetooth or other device  > Bluetooth Microsoft Ocean Plastic Mouse > Done.

Once your mouse is paired, the LED light will stop flashing. The light will stay on until you turn off your mouse. 

Navigate with the touchpad

Your mouse recognizes when you click or scroll on the touchpad. Here are some basic gestures to get started.

Left-click

Click with one finger of the left side of the touchpad.

Right-click

Click with one finger on the right side of the touchpad.

Scroll up and down

Move one finger up or down on the touchpad.

Scroll left and right 

Move one finger left and right on the touchpad.

Battery info

The Surface Arc Mouse and Microsoft Arc Mouse use 2 AAA batteries. When you need to change the batteries, flip the mouse over, press the small tab to open the battery door, then replace the batteries. To help save battery, snap the mouse flat to turn off your mouse when you're not using it.

Tip: To check the battery level any time, select Search, type Bluetooth, and then open Bluetooth & other devices settings. The battery level appears next to your mouse.

Customize mouse settings

To change the behavior and settings for your mouse:

  • Windows 11: Select Start  > Settings Bluetooth & devices Mouse .

  • Windows 10: Select​​​​​​​ Start  > Settings  > Devices  > Mouse .
