As you get better at using Microsoft 365 Copilot and creating helpful prompts, don't keep them to yourself. Copilot Prompt Gallery makes it easy to find, save, and share prompts that can help you and your organization be more effective.

Note: The feature is available to customers with a Microsoft 365 Copilot (work) license.

You can save your custom prompts to Copilot Prompt Gallery and easily share them later with colleagues inside your organization. To share your custom prompt:

  1. Run the prompt you want to share.

  2. After it successfully runs, save it to Copilot Prompt Gallery by hovering over it and selecting Save prompt.    Screenshot of how to save a prompt..

  3. Go to the prompt gallery (https://copilot.cloud.microsoft/prompts/all) and select the Saved tab. The Copilot Lab prompt library with the Saved prompts tab highlighted.

  4. Hover over the prompt you want to share and select the  Share a file or folder button in OneDrive (Share) icon

  5. Select Copy link to copy a link to the prompt to your clipboard. From there you can paste it into any app you like, such as a Teams chat or OneNote page.

Tips for sharing your prompt

It can be helpful (and inspiring!) to give the person you’re sharing with more context. For example:

  • What were you trying to accomplish?

  • How did this prompt help you?

  • What did you learn while creating this prompt or any thoughts on making the prompt even better? For instance, “I got better results using ‘Create an image’ instead of ‘Add an image’.”

Notes:

  • Prompts that you created can only be shared with others in your organization. Prompts created by Microsoft can be shared with anybody.

  • You can use, share, and remove prompts from Copilot Prompt Gallery but not edit them. If you need to edit a prompt, remove it, then create, save, and share your new version.
