Curious about how apps might help you do more in Teams? In the desktop or web version of Teams, go to Apps on the left of Teams and have a look around.

Keep in mind that every organization can customize their Teams experience; the apps shown may vary between companies, teams, and individuals.

Apps in Teams

Attention developers! On the lower left of this screen, you'll see Manage your apps > Submit an app to your org. In addition to App Studio and Visual Studio, it’s another place where you can submit apps for approval.

Search by name

Use the search box in the upper left corner to see if a particular app or program has a version for Teams.

Browse by category

If you’re just exploring or wanting to find cool Teams apps, you might start by selecting from a category like Popular across Teams or Top Picks. You can also browse by category (like Project Management or Utilities), or by industry (like Education or Finance).

Browse apps built for your org

Your IT admin can opt to show a category called Built for your org. These apps go through an official approval process in your org. Developers submit their apps to your IT admin to review. Approved apps are showcased here.

Browse apps built by your colleagues

This section includes apps made by peers to help your org be more productive. Each one was created on the Microsoft Power Platform, which enables anyone to build a simple app to solve a business challenge—including you!  To ensure a relevant selection, an app must meet one of the following conditions to be shown here.
