Forgotten your Microsoft account username

Microsoft accountIf you have previously added security information (a way to prove it's you when you sign in), follow the steps below.
If you have not set up any security information, read check your products or services to find your username.
Important: If you know your username and password, but they have stopped working, read My username and password have stopped working.
Look up a forgotten username using other information

Look up your username using your security contact phone number or email address.Search

Request a security code to be sent to the phone number or email you used.

Enter the code and select Next.

We'll then show a hint of the username, in this format: j********@outlook.com

A phone number or other email address may be used as sign-in security information for more than one account.

If you don't recognize the phone or email hints, read My username and password have stopped working.

You weren't able to find your username
If the username lookup wasn't successful, try looking for your Microsoft account username within other products or services that you know are associated with that account. Read check your products or services to find out how.
If you know your username and password, but they have stopped working, read My username and password have stopped working.
