Bluetooth-tillbehör kräver ibland en viss Bluetooth-specifikation (version) för att fungera som de ska.
Så här ser du vilken Bluetooth-version som finns på en Windows-enhet

Högerklicka på Start-menyn och välj Enhetshanteraren.

I det Enhetshanteraren fönster som öppnas väljer du pilen bredvid Bluetooth för att expandera det.

Flera enheter visas under Bluetooth-noden . Bestäm vilka av enheterna som är Bluetooth-radio. Bluetooth-radiolistan varierar beroende på Bluetooth-modultillverkaren. Namnet kan till exempel vara Intel(R) Wireless Bluetooth(R) eller Realtek Bluetooth Adapter. Leta efter ett liknande namn som innehåller tillverkarens namn.
Meddelanden: Namnet på Bluetooth-radiolistan är inte något av följande enhetsnamn:

Bluetooth-enhet (RFCOMM Protocol TDI).

Microsoft Bluetooth-uppräkning.

Microsoft Bluetooth LE Enumerator.

När du har fastställt namnet på Bluetooth-radio högerklickar du på den och väljer Egenskaper.

I fönstret Egenskaper för Bluetooth-adaptern som öppnas väljer du fliken Avancerat .

Bredvid Version av inbyggd programvara: i avsnittet Bluetooth-radioinformation letar du reda på LMP-listan (Link Manager Protocol). Numret bredvid LMP anger vilken version av LMP som finns på Windows-enheten.
LMP-versionen är den högsta grundläggande specifikationen som Windows-enheten har fullt stöd för. Tillbehör med högre specifikationer kan fortfarande fungera, men med nedsatt funktionalitet.
Använd den beslutsamma LMP-versionen för att mappa LMP-versionen till dess Bluetooth Core Specification-nummer med hjälp av följande tabell:
