You might want to make updates or last-minute changes to the conversation starters or replies you've posted to your Viva Engage network.
Note: Editing is only available on your own posts and comments.

Find the conversation post that you want to edit.

Do one of the following:

If your post is the conversation starter, select the ellipses icon in the top right and select Edit.

If your post is the reply to a conversation starter, select the ellipses iconat the bottom of the post, and select Edit.
Note: To delete a post starter or comment, select the ellipses icon and select Delete.

Make the changes you want to your post and select Save. Edited appears at the top of the post or reply.
Usage

Editing a conversation post or comment is not available for Viva Engage external communities.

Polls aren't editable to prevent them from becoming invalid once people start responding.

Attachments that are removed from the post won't be deleted from SharePoint, and anyone who has access to the SharePoint site can still view them. You'll need to delete those files from SharePoint if you don't want others to view them.

Attachments that are added while you're editing and then removed or abandoned before posting might encounter an error during deletion. If this happens, you'll see a warning message, and will need to delete the file from SharePoint.
