The Workflow State field indicates a selected proposal or a project’s current workflow state, for example, Waiting For Approval or Completed. This field is a component of the Project Server workflow framework.

Best Uses The current state is determined by the workflow, which completes this field. Add the Workflow State field to a project page or to a report when you want to see the current status of a project’s workflow.
Example You manage a portfolio of projects, and you want to track each project’s current status. You add the Workflow State field to the Project Center.
Remarks The enumerated field values are Not Started, Waiting For Input, Waiting For Approval, Workflow Processing, Completed, Completed With Errors, and Workflow Completed.
You can view or specify workflow components in Project Server by looking at the server settings in Project Web App.
