The Enterprise Flag1 through Enterprise Flag20 fields can store any custom task, resource, or assignment flag information as defined by your project management administrator or other user with administrative permissions. These fields are then made available to all users throughout the organization. A flag can indicate whether a task, resource, or assignment is marked for further action or identification of some kind. A flagged field is marked Yes or No.

There are several categories of Enterprise Flag1-20 fields.

Data Type    Yes/No

Enterprise Flag1-20 (task fields)

Entry Type    Calculated or Entered

How Calculated    Depending on how they were customized, the Enterprise Flag fields might be defined with formulas or other conditions to display specific results.

Best Uses    You can add any defined and available Enterprise Flag field to a task view; you can also see a list of available enterprise custom task fields, in the Task Information dialog box.

Example    You are the project management administrator, and the project managers throughout the enterprise need to track specialized accounting information in certain tasks. Using the checked-out enterprise global template, you define the Enterprise Flag1 field for this purpose. You add this field to the Task Sheet, and then click Yes in the field for each task that needs the special handling. You then filter for that Flag field to work with only those tasks marked Yes.
