Note: The tutorial steps in this article are from Clipchamp for personal accounts. Light and dark mode will be available for Clipchamp for work in the future. Tutorial steps may vary.

The following theme settings are available in Clipchamp for personal accounts:

  • Dark mode is the default theme for the Clipchamp video editor. This mode is particularly useful for video editors who are working in low-light environments, or users with light sensitivity.

  • Light mode is the new theme option in Clipchamp, perfect for those who prefer a brighter interface and light aesthetic.

Follow the steps below to learn how to change the theme settings in Clipchamp for personal accounts.

  1. Start by opening the Clipchamp online video editor on your desktop using Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome, or start with the Microsoft Clipchamp Windows app. The Clipchamp homepage will appear. Next, navigate to the settings tab.

  2. Click on the general tab in the settings tab to reveal the theme settings available inside Clipchamp.

  3. Choose from system, light, or dark options to suit your preferred Clipchamp theme. A pop-up message will confirm your theme has changed once you choose your option. The system setting is an intelligent shortcut where the Clipchamp interface will automatically shift to dark or light mode based on your device settings on Windows. To reverse a theme change, simply re-select it from the options.
