If you're having trouble editing a page in OneNote for Android, it could be caused by one of several issues.

Here are some reasons:

  • A page might be from a notebook sent as an email attachment. Pages sent as attachments can't be edited

  • A notebook shared on OneDrive or on a Microsoft SharePoint site might be marked as read-only. Contact the owner of the notebook to gain read/write access to it.

  • A page that contains content that isn't supported in OneNote for your phone, such as ink drawings, shapes, or unsupported images, can't be edited.

  • A notebook might have a corrupted page.

  • A notebook might be password-protected.
