How to group assets on the timeline
Selecting multiple assets on the timeline and turning them into a group lets you make edits to all items in the group at the same time. Grouped assets can be moved around the timeline without the need to continue selecting multiple items individually. You can also copy, paste, or split your entire group easily, making these operations more efficient.
To group assets on the timeline, hold the shift key on your keyboard (for both MacBook and Windows) then click on the assets on the timeline that you would like to group.
After you selected all assets, right-click on the group to reveal an options menu. Here, you can select duplicate, copy, paste, delete, split, group and more. Click on the group button to group your assets on the timeline.
Note: All assets on the timeline like images, videos, music, voiceovers, text, and overlays can be grouped.
How to edit individual assets within the group
When grouped, assets can still be edited individually. Double-click the item on the timeline or video preview to select the individual asset.
How to ungroup assets on the timeline
To ungroup assets on the timeline, right click on the asset again, then click on the ungroup button. This will automatically ungroup all of the assets on the timeline within the group.
