If you need to reinstall Office apps in your Office Pre-installed PC (for corporate), we recommend that you uninstall Office first. After you've uninstalled Office, follow the steps below.
Important: Office perpetual products included on the Office Pre-installed PCs (for corporate) in Japan do not require a personal Microsoft account to activate the Office apps.
Reinstall Office
The reinstallation steps you follow will depend if your purchased Office Pre-installed PC includes a product key card or a digital Office product.
Select the correct tab for how you want to reinstall Office.
Office pre-installed PCs with an Office product key card package included had been sold for corporate until year 2023. If you have a product key card included with your device, follow these steps.
Reinstall Office from the "Office Setup" site

Go to https://setup.office.com and select Get Started button

Sign into the site with your Microsoft account

Enter the product key into the Product key field and select Next button

Check the valid Office product name is displayed in the next screen

Select a language from Language menu and select Redeem button

Select either Download 64 bit or Download 32 bit button to get an installer

Run the installer to install the Office apps

When the installation is finished, start an Office app, like Word

Accept the license agreement when prompted. Office is ready to use.
Note: A Microsoft account is required to log in this site. But it recognizes that the product key you enter is a device-based license key, so it will never be linked to your Microsoft account if you will obtain an Office installer from this site.
Starting year 2022, Office pre-installed PCs (for corporate) includes a digital Office product of the Micrsoft Store instead of an Office product key card. If you need to reinstall the Office apps on that device, you must perform the steps below in the Microsoft Store app.
Reinstall Office from Microsoft Store Library

Open the Microsoft Store app.
(If you have signed in the app with your Micrsoft account, please sign out the app certainly.)

Select the Library icon and then the Apps tab

Turn off the Show installed products only filter under the Sort and Filter button or [↑↓] button

Find the Office product listed under the Apps tab, and select Cloud button in it

The Office installer (setup.exe) will be downloaded

Installation will start automatically, so follow the prompts to install Office apps

Start an Office app from Start menu after the installation will complete

Accept the license agreement when prompted. Office is ready to use.
Note: If you will reinstall Office apps with the installer obtained from Microsoft Store app, the installer will install the Office apps in the same edition as the bit edition of Windows by default. You can't usually install 32-bit edition of Office apps into 64-bit edition of Windows system. However, if any 32-bit edition of Office app (ex ; OneNote app, etc,) will remain in 64-bit edition of Windows system, the installer will install 32-bit edition of Office apps.
Note: If you will uninstall the preinstalled Office apps or clean the C drive to reinstall another Windows system before activating Office apps, please follow the reinstallation and activation steps in the answer for the question below in "Frequently asked questions for preinstalled Office". Microsoft had provided an installation media (DVD) for Office 2016 or Office 2019 pre-installed device only. If you have an installation media for Office 2016 or 2019, follow this procedure to reinstall Office. You need a product key card bundled in your Office pre-installed device.
Reinstall Office from DVD media

Insert the DVD. You might be prompted to run setup.exe automatically. If not, open the DVD in Explorer and double-click setup.exe.

Wait for the installation is complete and select Close when prompted.

Start an Office app, like Word. Can't find your Office apps?

On Sign in to set up Office screen, select I have a product key link below the buttons.

On Enter your product key screen, enter your product key and select Activate Office.

Accept the license agreement when prompted. Office is activated and ready to use.
Note: If your device isn't connected to the Internet, the Activation Wizard appears so you can activate by phone. Follow the prompts in the wizard to complete the activation process.
