A plan is considered "linked" when it is also available in another Microsoft app, such as Microsoft Teams or SharePoint. Having a plan be visible and editable in other apps allows you to access and edit the plan and its tasks in a different location, which may include additional context about the plan.

Changes or deletions you make in a plan in one linked location will happen in all locations in which the plan is linked.

Changes to sensitivity labels on a linked file can trigger de-linking. Once de-linked, both will show that Planner Sync has stopped syncing.

Open your plan in Planner.

Check to see if your plan is linked: Under the plan's title, it will say Linked plan.

To view the linked locations, either select Linked plan or, also in the plan header, look to the left of Members. Select an option to go to the linked location.
Linked locations for your plan
Here are some of the main linked locations for Planner plans:

Teams: You can add a plan as a tab in a Teams channel. Teams linked locations will be listed under Linked plans with their plan name, team name, and channel name, or next to Members in the plan header as Open in Microsoft Teams. You will also be able to see this plan in the Tasks app in Teams.

SharePoint : You can add a plan to any SharePoint page as a web part. show either board view or charts view within the context of your SharePoint page. After your plan has been added to the SharePoint page, you'll see a link to that SharePoint page from your plan so you can navigate back and forth between these places, both at the top right of your plan and when you select Linked plan.
