When you export a finished project in Clipchamp, it will be an MPEG-4 (.mp4) video file and the frame rate will be 30fps.

In addition, for Teams meeting recordings, Clipchamp auto-adjusts its output settings so that they are optimized for the frame rate and bit rate that Teams has in place for meeting recordings.

Clipchamp for personal accounts

In Clipchamp's personal version, there are four output resolutions to choose from:

  • 480p SD

  • 720p HD

You can also save a 15-second video as a GIF.

If you add premium stock media, use another premium feature in your project, or would like to export in 4K video resolution, you need to be on a Microsoft 365 personal or family subscription or the Clipchamp Premium plan.
