Conditional Formatting adds visual cues, like different colors, that help you spot highs and lows or other trends.

  1. Select the cells or data range you want to format.

  2. Select Conditional Formatting.

  3. Choose one of the preset types:

    • Highlight Cell Rules

    • Top/Bottom Rules

    • Data Bars

    • Color Scales

    • Icon Sets

  4. Choose a criteria.

  5. Set the conditions and select OK.
